S.A.R.A. extends its sincere appreciation to the many individual volunteers and donors whose efforts have helped S.A.R.A. save homeless animals in our community. 	Many thanks to Leigh Anne Jasheway-Bryant, Eugene's reigning S.L.U.G. Queen, and Elizabeth Thompson, owner of Sweet Potato Pie, who organized and obtained silent auction items for a "Dancing with the S.L.U.G. Queens Fall Ball". held on 10/19/07. They raised $688.50 for S.A.R.A.'s rescue and advocacy programs, and an equal amount for Luv-A-Bull Pitbull Rescue! Thanks also to the band Riffle, who donated their musical talents and Cozmic Pizza, who donated the dance hall!
